Darwen Tower
This majectic Tower stands on the highest elevation on Beacon Hill, Darwen Moor, at a point 1,225 above sea level. It is open at all times for visitors to climb the spiral steps to the observation platform. It's from here that on a clear day the town of Blackpool can be seen. It was built with funds from public subscription to celebrate the opening of Darwen Moor to the public after a long, hard struggle for access and to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1898.

The three objects provide unique spaces for viewing…different proportion, geometry, light, perspective and feeling. It is unique because the open field cannot offer these enclosure, perspective and depth…
The circulation is via the spiral stair at the connection of the three axis. Moving through the spiral, people experience different landscape in different frames but continuously. It is a place where you can subsequently see these interesting views.
