“CBC当代中国建筑与建筑之外”展亮相2014北京国际设计周

2014年9月26日-10月3日,“CBC当代中国建筑与建筑之外”展将在2014北京国际设计周的中心场馆中华世纪坛世界艺术馆专题陈列厅中隆重展出。此次展览由CBC（China Building Centre）、《城市•环境•设计》（UED）杂志社及《OBJEKT境》杂志社主办，作为本届北京国际设计周的主展之一，本次展览分为 “历史的建构——当代中国建筑展”及“CBC建筑之外展”两大版块。前者聚焦中国当代建筑36年的变迁发展，展现中国当代建筑的成长历程；后者从建筑走向建筑之外，关注建筑师的跨界实践。展览由建筑缘起，带领公众从中国建筑的过去来到当代，又以当代为起点迈向建筑之外，从而以更广阔的视角、更具开放性的态度揭开建筑、建筑师、建筑实践的过去、当下与未来，引发公众对建筑命题的讨论与思考。本次展览汇聚了100多位国内外当下最活跃、最具创造力的建筑师的杰出作品。其间话题亮点不断、内容精彩纷呈，是本届设计周最值得一看的建筑展览。

“CBC Contemporary Chinese Architecture and BeyondArchitecture” Exhibition will make an important display at the featuredexhibition hall of world art museum in the China Millennium Monument fromSeptember 26 to October 3, 2014. The exhibition is organized by CBC (ChinaBuilding Center), Urban Environment Design (UED) Magazine and OBJECT ChinaMagazine. As one of the main exhibitions of the Beijing International DesignWeek, this exhibition consists two parts: “Construction of History -Contemporary Chinese Architecture Exhibition” and “CBC Beyond ArchitectureExhibition”. The former is focused on the development and changes ofcontemporary Chinese architecture in 36 years to showcase its growth history;the latter moves from architecture to what is beyond, concentrating on thearchitects’ cross-disciplinary practices. Starting from architecture, theexhibition leads the public from past to present, from contemporaryarchitecture to what is beyond, thus the history, present situation and futureof architecture, architects and architectural practices are revealed with abroader perspective and more open attitude to inspire the public to discuss andreflect on architectural issues. The masterpieces of more than 100 most activeand inventive architects from China and abroad are included in the exhibition,which is a must-see of the design week with heated topics, highlights andbrilliant contents.

“历史的建构——当代中国建筑展”由CBC（China Building Centre）和《城市•环境•设计》（UED）杂志社联合主办，崔愷院士及彭礼孝主编联合策展。展览缘起于2012年4月在英国伦敦举行由中华人民共和国新闻出版总署主办、《城市·环境·设计》（UED）杂志社策展的“从北京到伦敦：当代中国建筑展”，展览以深层剖析中国建筑文化和社会发展的内容，加之中国主流建筑师在英国的首次集体亮相，迎来了英国政府及建筑界的高度评价。

“Construction of History - Contemporary Chinese ArchitectureExhibition” is co-organized by CBC (China Building Center) and UrbanEnvironment Design Magazine and co-curated by academician Cui Kai and theeditor-in-chief Peng Lixiao. The exhibition originates from the “From Beijingto London: Contemporary Chinese Architecture Exhibition” in London organized bythe General Administration of Press and Publication together with UrbanEnvironment Design (UED) Magazine in 2012. The exhibition provided distinctiveinsight and sensibility toward the social reality and local architectureculture in China. For the first time the 16 mainstream contemporary Chinesearchitects presented their works to the audience in London. It won positivefeedback from the British government as well as architectural society.

本次展览在中国日益增长的建设量和迅速扩张的城市化语境下，抱以突显发展脉络的史学态度，梳理了1978年-2014年中国具有代表性的建筑项目，呈现了中国当代建筑36年的发展变化。展览汇集了20世纪30-80年代中国建筑师的卓越思想和建筑作品，他们凭借敏锐的洞察力和独立的视角，回应不同时期中国建筑的发展事实。这些不同的实践描绘了一个充满活力的中国当代建筑发展情境，同时也表现了中国当代建筑师自我意识觉醒，向世界表达自我的渴望。

Chinese architects currently face great challengessteaming from rapid development ad wide spread urbanization. With a historicalattitude, the exhibition sorted through the influential signature contemporaryChinese architectural projects from 1978 to 2014. The exhibition presents thechanging tides of contemporary Chinese architecture during the past 36 years.Each architect with their own distinctive perspective and sensibility capturedthe essence of different stages of social progress with their works. With theincreasing self-awareness and emerging voice from contemporary Chinesearchitects, this collection of works from the architects born between 1930’sand 1980’s illustrated a dynamic realm of contemporary Chinese architecture andits development.

此次展览有别于一般的模型和图片的展示方式，采用了书籍的形式展示参展建筑师的作品，这种方式使参观者在翻阅的过程中沉浸在展览者的作品里。展览既是驻足研究中国建筑现状以及绘铸未来的理论依据，也是让大众了解、认知中国建筑与建筑师的契机。

Different from the typical model and image basedexhibition, this exhibition adopted books as the method of representation todemonstrate the works of exhibitors. This unique browsing experience provided avaluable opportunity for the viewers to be fully emerged into the works of theparticipants. With a reference to the current architecture practice in China,the exhibition will be the foundation to speculate the future. At the sametime, this is also a rare opportunity to introduce the general public tocontemporary Chinese architecture and architects.

“CBC建筑之外”展

“CBC Beyond Architecture” Exhibition

“CBC建筑之外”展由CBC（China Building Center）、《OBJEKT境》杂志、思班机构联合主办，彭礼孝、陈展辉及姚京联合策展。展览将展出50余位不同背景的国内外建筑师和建筑机构近年进行的跨界实践作品，试图探索在当代中国和移动互联网双重语境下以建筑为原点的往外延伸中不可回避的建筑学和建筑设计的“边界”、“建筑之外”、“农村”等问题。

“CBC Beyond Architecture” Exhibition is jointlyorganized by CBC (China Building Centre), OBJEKT China Magazine and MADAs.p.a.m. and curated by Peng Lixiao, Chen Zhanhui and Yao Jing. The Exhibitionwill feature cross-design practice works from over 50 architects andarchitectural institutions from both China and overseas with differentbackgrounds, aiming to discuss about the inevitable issues like “boundaries”,“beyond architecture” and “villages” extended from the architecture origin inthe double circumstances of modern China and internet.

展览收集梳理了马清运、陈展辉、范凌等50多位建筑师跨界实践的作品，除此之外，中国之外的代表性建筑师——阿诺•雅格布森、芬•尤、黑川雅之、Davide Macullo等上百位来自中国、美国、丹麦、日本、意大利的建筑师也将在此展中隆重亮相，集体展现了他们作为建筑师在建筑之外的创作能量及个体实践。

The Exhibition collects the cross-design practiceworks from over 50 architects such as Ma Qingyun, Chen Zhanhui and Fan Ling. Inaddition, near 100 representative architects from countries like America,Denmark, Japan and Italy including Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Masayuki Kurokawaand Davide Macullo will showcase their works, demonstrating their power increativity and individual practices beyond designing for architectures.

“建筑之外”是一次对建筑师在建筑之外的跨界创作的集中展示及梳理，是一趟以建筑为原点出发的关于“建筑师”、“建筑”、“建筑之外”的文化探索。它以开放、务实、灵活的心态，客观地展现建筑师建筑之外的创造实践，不预设路程，不界定条框，不求证因果，不强加作为主办方、发起人、策展人的主观判断和结论。它不仅是一场展览，更映射着由建筑师及其外延创作所辐射出的个人及时代形态，通过引发公众对建筑师群体的关注，展开一场关于“建筑”、“建筑创作”、“建筑师”的讨论及思考。

“Beyond Architecture” is a collective showcasing andsystematization and a cultural exploration originated from architectures andcircling the subjects of “architects”, “architectures” and “beyondarchitecture”. With the open, pragmatic and flexible mindset, the Exhibition objectivelyshowcases the cross-design practices of the architects without pre-settingroute and boundaries, finding causes and effects, or imposing the subjectivejudgments and conclusions from organizers, initiators and curators. It hastranscended the definition of exhibition, reflecting the situation of ourselvesas well as time we are living in radiated from the works of these architects.By eliciting the public attention to the architect community, we are trying tostart a debate and thinking regarding the subjects of “architects”,“architectures” and “beyond architecture”.
